Cotswolds Barn
A Grade II listed, early 19th century stone five-bay barn with attached former stable and granary. This repurposed Cotswold home is situated in the stunning Coln Valley.
The buildings are completely reconfigured and rebuilt, reinstating and reintroducing features of the old trout smoke house it once was. After a lengthy and complicated planning process permission was granted to link the two buildings with a contemporary glass link , allowing the layout and seamless flow of spaces.
A condensed building palette has been developed through research into local and natural materials that are used throughout the project. Natural solid oak runs throughout the structural framing, joinery and bespoke furniture.
Cotswolds stone features both externally and internally combined with natural clay wall finishes.
The project is nearing completion.
