East London House

A complete refurbishment, as well as a rear and loft extension, of this East London property.

The lower ground floor has been extended with glazing to introduce more natural light and space into the existing home and elegantly connect the internal living spaces to the garden.

The existing house provided a blank canvas as such, and thus, we aimed to both introduce some traditional features and incorporate some more modern. With everything from a draped cinema room to a kew-gardens inspired loft extension, there was no limit to the creative expression.

Fusing beautiful statement antique pieces with contemporary elements; a mahogany banquette with a stainless steel island. The aim was to capture both fun and function in this house; simultaneously paying homage to the client’s artistic flair whilst creating flowing and practical spaces for a growing family.
