Highgate House

Modern, minimalist lines and soft industrial accents meet natural materials to highlight the elegance and original features of this Edwardian house situated in the Highgate Conservation Area. The project represented a real challenge due to some particularities of the site but together with a highly skilled team we managed to recreate the existing house by harmoniously integrating a side and a rear extension that offered much needed extra space for a growing family of five.

Additional light was introduced throughout the house with carefully designed glazing elements and particular attention was given to highly crafted bespoke joinery throughout the house. Hints of earthy and natural palettes are reflected in the choice of materials and neat, clean details celebrate the calm and serene atmosphere when entering the house. The rear garden was a very sloped unusable space that has been completely reconfigured to uncover its full potential and complement the newly created lateral living space at the rear of the house.
