Laverton Lodge

The proposed design for a single dwelling on the land is of exceptional quality.

The house is sensitive to the defining characteristics of the local area and will enhance its immediate setting. The materials are wholly traditional, local and natural.

The proposals have been developed closely with the clients’ and design team’s local knowledge of the area to reflect one of the key characteristics of Cotswold homes and farmsteads, namely that of incrementality and successive subservient ranges which are extended over time. The design looks to capture this character which we hope echoes a very strong characteristic of the Cotswolds. The landscaping will enrich the site with tree, hedgerow and meadow planting and increased biodiversity.

The proposals have been carefully considered and reflect the highest standards in architecture, incorporating a fabric first approach to create a comortable, beautiful and sustainable home.
